Back in the Saddle Again!

I made a shirt (Simplicity 3739) yesterday...start to finish. It was very easy, a nice change from the last item I made. The fabric is from Hancock Fabrics and was from the Grandma's Handkerchief collection. It's a yellow backgroud with teeny mustard colored flowers and even teeny-er stems. I think next time I need to use less stiff interfacing...hopefully it softens up after a few washes.
Evidently the weight I put on after I quit smoking (a year this May) has made a significant change in my pattern size. And not in a good way either. Assuming I know what pattern size to use without measuring and confirming it is going to be a hard habit to break.
